Google Analytics getting a makeover?
Earlier I spotted a new homepage for Google Analytics (example) which states that Google Analytics has undergone a redesign. Sure, the homepage looks different - but everything else looks just the same!
I mentioned this over at Google Blogoscoped and Barry Schwartz has now blogged it at Search Engine Roundtable.
So should we expect changes to Google Analytics in the coming days? I fear not. I emailed Google and received this reply:
“I understand you recently saw the message on the Analytics home page indicating a redesign of Analytics account. As far as I am aware there are no major changes due to Analytics. I recommend you keep up to date with this product by looking at the Analytics blog at http://analytics.blogspot.com/“
If anyone spots any updates though, be sure to let me know. They could be lying. Time will tell.
