Google Chrome Tips (some of ours and some of yours)
So it turns out that Google Chrome being released is the Google news of 2008 so far. It seems like that to me anyway and…I still can’t try it! Seems like there is a heck of a lot of traffic too. This blog hasn’t seen as much traffic as this before! Keep it coming!
Since there are so many posts, here’s a round up (part 2) of a few posts that focus on Chrome’s features:
- Google Chrome tips (Google Operating System)
“Some not so obvious things you can do in Google Chrome”
- Google Chrome Tips and Pointers (Blogoscoped)
“Some FAQs on Chrome and some pointers…Where’s the home button? Is Chrome secure?…etc”
- 10 features that differentiate Chrome from FF and IE (Search Engine Land)
“Chrome is actually very different from those two browsers, and significantly different from nearly everything else on the market. Here are the 10 major features that truly differentiate Google Chrome from the competition”
- Review of Google Chrome (by reader Martin from DevCase)
A review focusing on more technical aspects of Chrome - the task manager and javascript console.
Be sure to post your Chrome tips in the comments. The best tips will be showcased, with a link if you have one. There was a great time earlier from reader Al, explaining how to get the ‘HOME’ button back if you’re worried its not there anymore…
“If you select the settings drop down on the left and then options you can choose to ‘turn on’ a Home button!I guess the guys don’t really see the need to go home, but old habits die hard. I turned mine back on straight away!!”
