Not cool - Cuil employee leaves as woes continue
Cuil’s VP Product, Louis Monier, has quietly resigned from the search engine this week, according to TechCrunch.
Cuil has had its fair share of trouble. I wrote last month about how it produced terribly inaccurate but hilarious results and I’m sure you all know about the troubles it had on launch day. Add to that falling, not rising, traffic (Google Trends) and Monier’s resignation and you’re left feeling Cuil is going to find it difficult to be the Google killer it claimed.
I don’t know anyone who is seriously using it apart from to research how bad it is or do vanity searches. Are you using it? Can you defend it? I doubt it.
